Comments: Nice website, this receiver was mentioned on qrptech @ groups.io today. Great information on a regen. I built the EMRFD regen in figure 1.13, lots of experimenting to do, its neat that you could build yours without a lot of experimentation as you mentioned.
"Performance of my set was so impressive that I never experimented with any other values."

Comments: Great work! I’m researching the AT-1 and learning what I forgot 60 years ago. The current AT-1 which sells on eBay for an astronomical sum has a chirp problem, apparently. Your design gets around that. Also, your writing and illustrations are terrific! Tnx es 73 de N2CVZ.

Comments: Great site.
As a new ham but old electronics tech,
I like the work shop.
I actually prefer the tube builds.
They are far more robust than solid state.

Comments: I just finished building the twinplex and it works great. I connected a small 115vac-6.3vdc transformer at the phone terminals, and ran the secondary to a 3.5mm plug that accepts cheap ($5.00) modern low ohm headsets. Plenty of volume and good sound. Way better than the two audio transformers I tried. I'm using a 12sn7 at present because it was $6.00 instead of $18.00 and up. Just have to feed the heaters 12 volts. This has been a very rewarding project.

Comments: I'm researching a very simple 1 tube receiver for my son who is special needs. Although he is quite active covid has curtailed his out of home activities. Hopefully this will give him an outlet to take his mind off of his other social activities.
