Which page are you viewing? Regenerative receiver
Comments: Thank you for a great website!
I am currently building Bob Heil's Pineboard transmitter from the January 2018 issue of QST. This receiver looks like it would pair up with it well. I believe it will probably be my next project. Thank you for the Fantastic documentation on it, I'm sure it will make the build process go much smoother than it would have otherwise been.
Thanks again,

Which page are you viewing? hotdxs workbench
Comments: I am W7KDL in Phoenix, AZ. I ran across your site from a link that someone sent me. I don't remember who. It is very well done with a lot of areas that are useful. I particularly like the "HotDXS workbench" section. Since 1956 when I got my K2RTI license, I have enjoyed building and using simple tube type circuits. So your "Workbench" section caught my attention. Keep up the nice webpage. 73 Dick.

Comments: Nice work! Thanks for posting this. I am finishing up an audio (guitar) amp that's been my winter project and I am planning on building an AC 1 next. I've started gathering parts and I am thinking I will use your schematic. Dan, KB1AMG

Which page are you viewing? Vacuum tube T/R switch
Comments: I used a homebrew vacuum tube T/R switch for QSK CW back in the 1960s when I was WA1FMM. Couldn't afford the EF Johnson device, but building one was not hard. I followed a lit of advice by Law McCoy (W1ACP?). Gonsett GSB-100 (100 watts), T/R switch, low-pass filter, Drake 2B. It worked perfectly. "Total Immersion CW," what an experience! 73/KK6CY

Comments: Very interesting and attractive page. I got my license a couple of years ago, but since I’m retired and can’t afford sophisticated gear, I am tinkering around and working my way up to homebrewing. Thanks and 73 !

Comments: I built a home brewed Ameco AC-1 transmitter in a cigar box back in 1956 and worked countless stations on 40 meters (7173 KC) Sure wish I had it back. I also built an oscillator using a 30 tube around the same time. Still have that one. Good to see the transmitter is still around. 73's Chuck K8BBE
